I know Donkey could have somehow copied the cute little sun pictures that were on there for you, too, but I am so tired of looking at them, I decided not to bother…

  • Is it starting to be drought conditions there?  I am sorry you are not liking your weather. Lately, I very much like ours! It is a comfy, sunny 79 degrees today with a breeze and low humidity. Just about perfect! Come on over!

  • I understand the broken record heat syndrome… although miracle upon miracles, we got a huge shower yesterday, the first in a long while!!! All my FB friends who live around here was posting pictures of rain. I don’t think we got that excited about weather since our freak snow in December! LOL

  • Looks like early mornings might be to your liking?

I remember how some T-Storms used to be in Southern California, a big front would be visible, thunder and lightning could be heard and the drenching torrents. In fact there would be flood warnings for some areas and pity the fools stuck in some low spots.

  • Brutal in my neck of woods to the point I don’t care what I look like in a bathing suit, I I just want to soak my body in a pool!

  • about the same in PA only about 15 degrees cooler

  • I feel your pain.

  • The weather doesn’t seem to be giving anyone the stuff they want… it has been dark, damp and dreary here practically all of June. We were supposed to go into the 90′s today, but nope, maybe 79 now, and looking like we will get rain yet again!  Hope you cool down and get some rain…

  • it must be like that everywhere because that’s our forcast too.

  • Yep we are in the same weather pattern and for the first time that I can ever recall (and I have lived here 28 years) we are under water restrictions. Unlike you though the humidity is low here….around 30%.

  • Rochester should be a bit cooler! See you there.

  • Good night Flash… sleep tight… And may sweet dreams guide you through gentle slumbers

  • Morning Flash…

As I commented to Donkey… I’m glad the weather here in Rochester cooperated so you could enjoy the outdoors for the week. We certainly did have some fun!

Hope the flight home was a good one.

Maybe it will be a bit cooler there for you today. : )

  • I hope you made it back OK. It’s still cool here. My lips are still smooth but puffy.

  • The weather is wonderful here today.-Hot tomorrow, up in the 80′s.

It was so great having you and Donk come visit.  It’s like having family visit.  Thanks for making the trip!

  • It is a little warm here today.””’ ””’  See  my smiling face with drops of sweat?

  • Its too hot here now. 70 degrees. I am tempted to turn on the AC but it costs $$ and I want to save my money for something more substantial. Maybe I should make a pitcher of Iced tea… Go ahead. Call me a wimp

  • @DanishDoll - denmark sounds like a great place to visit, too. we are more than 12 inches below our usual rainfall for the year and the utilities are posting mandatory water use schedules. right now, they only tell us when we can water our lawns. i am planning a protest if they start scheduling showers…
@sez_who_sez_you - the day we left there was some sort of shower, but not much of one. no rainfall so far this month…
@PPhilip - we have flash floods during storms here, too–especially near the dry creek beds. i like my house on the TOP of the hill by the creek…
@LifeNeedsProtection - been there. done that. got the tee shirt that also makes an excellent cover-up…
@TommyCrowwithWhiteFeathers - even 85 can feel hot if you are not used to it. when i lived in michigan, more than two days of highs in the 80′s was considered a heat wave..
@jada_marnew - not so much pain as sweat…
@beadbrat - we tried to bring back some new york weather with us, but apparently it is not allowed through the security check points…
@NightlyDreams - do you suppose there could actually be something to that global warming thing or maybe are we all riding the hormonal roller coaster now?
@Miss_Spunky91 - low humidity makes heat slightly more tolerable, but it seems like you are forever needing to apply moisturizers and hand creams. did i mention that i sell mary kay skin care products?
@seedsower - it certainly was! it was fun, too! also glad i got to meet you and your sweetie…
    @Aloysius_son - zzzzzzz….
@lorilily - no cooler but lots of happy memories to cherish!
@thankee - we made it back just fine. next time maybe you should use the mary kay satin lip balm–unless of course you are going for the angeilna jolie look. you are not a wimp. when it is more humid, our air goes on at lower temps, too…
@dingdongdingbat - thank YOU for doing your part in making it such a “wonder-full” visit…
@lindaintennessee - and such a cute smiling face it is, too!

  • @FlashFosgitt - i do beleive in global warming but i think most people don’t understand what global warming is.  the name is not really what it is (the earth getting hotter) it is the erraticness of the weather be that freezing cold and then extreme heat/storms etc.
